PhotoPeasy Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 30, 2026
PhotoPeasy respects your privacy. The app is designed to organize your photo library directly on your device without uploading your photos, videos, metadata, or app activity to PhotoPeasy or Peasy Software servers.
Information We Collect
PhotoPeasy does not collect personal information and does not operate an external media or analytics server.
The app does not collect or transmit:
- Photos or videos
- Photo or video metadata
- Contact information
- Location information
- Advertising identifiers
- Usage analytics
- Tracking information
- Payment card information
PhotoPeasy does not contain advertising, tracking technologies, analytics services, or third-party SDKs.
Photos Library Access
PhotoPeasy requests read and write access to the Apple Photos Library so it can:
- Display the photos and videos selected by the user
- Organize items into Apple Photos albums
- Add or remove items from Favorites
- Create and manage the “PhotoPeasy: To Delete” album
- Request deletion after explicit user confirmation
PhotoPeasy supports both Full Photos Access and Limited Photos Access.
Access can be changed or revoked at any time in:
iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → PhotoPeasy
PhotoPeasy does not upload Photos Library content to Peasy Software or any third-party server.
Information Stored on Your Device
PhotoPeasy stores a limited amount of information locally on the device, including:
- App preferences
- Selected filters and sorting order
- Destination album identifiers
- Identifiers of previously reviewed items
- Review progress
- Local usage counters used to determine when Apple’s system rating prompt may be appropriate
This information is used only to provide app functionality and is not transmitted off the device.
PhotoPeasy does not store separate permanent copies of your photos or videos.
Albums, Favorites, and Deletion
Changes made through PhotoPeasy are performed using Apple PhotoKit and may modify the user’s Apple Photos Library.
Items assigned to To Delete are first placed in the app-managed “PhotoPeasy: To Delete” album. They are not immediately deleted.
Deletion is requested only when the user:
- Selects Delete Items inside PhotoPeasy
- Confirms the PhotoPeasy warning
- Confirms Apple’s system Photos deletion request
Changes to albums, Favorites, and deleted Photos Library items are not reversed when PhotoPeasy settings are reset or when the app is uninstalled.
iCloud Photos
If an allowed photo or video is stored only in iCloud, Apple PhotoKit may download it so PhotoPeasy can display or play it.
This transfer is handled by Apple according to the user’s iCloud settings and Apple’s privacy policy. PhotoPeasy does not operate an iCloud or media server and does not receive the downloaded content.
Data Sharing
PhotoPeasy does not sell, rent, share, or disclose personal information to advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties.
The app communicates with Apple system services only as necessary to:
- Access the Photos Library through PhotoKit
- Request an App Store rating through Apple’s system prompt
Peasy Software does not receive payment card information from Apple.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local app preferences and review history remain on the device until the user:
- Selects Reset App Settings & Review History inside PhotoPeasy, or
- Uninstalls the app
Resetting PhotoPeasy clears local preferences and review progress. It does not delete photos, videos, albums, or Favorites from the Apple Photos Library.
Children’s Privacy
PhotoPeasy is not specifically directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because PhotoPeasy does not collect or transmit personal information, it does not maintain personal profiles for children or other users.
Security
PhotoPeasy minimizes privacy risk by processing Photos Library content locally and avoiding external accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking, and media servers.
Review history is stored in the app’s protected local container and is accessible only to PhotoPeasy under standard iOS security protections.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if PhotoPeasy’s features or data practices change.
The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made. Updated terms will be published on this page.
